irregular hexagons are distributed throughout the ‘rice home’ restaurant located in guangzhou city, china by hong kong company AS design. a dynamic interior reflects the newly launched casual dining brand that emphasizes on unique and contemporary recipes that are creatively blended with modern and innovative approach. contrasting black and yellow beehive symbols help to define the spaces, offering a high level of visual impact upon entering. enhancing the spatial layering at the shop front, the natural structure helps to provide a comfortable dining area. a curved wall features bowl-shaped structures with food particles that appear to pop out of it and carry along. the menus are displayed on TVs and also used to promote new food products. the fit out’s sense of playfulness helps to emphasize the unique and contemporary recipes that ‘rice home’ creatively blends together.
