‘lamp neo-N’ by atelier dsgn is a minimalist lighting fixture that presents a distorted version of a single fluorescent tube. the formal manipulation starts from a circular, black base that emphasizes and reflects the illuminance without overpowering its appearance. as the thin cylinder navigates upwards and reaches its peak, the halo-like shape of the supporting platform is replicated three times at varying vertical heights. the bright white curves of develop a composition of multiple spatial characteristics depending on the angle from which the object is viewed.
