AutoCamp has opened its second boutique camping property located just 90 minutes north of san francisco. set amid towering redwoods along the russian river, the complex includes 24 luxury airstream trailers, 10 fully equipped luxury tents, and a communal lounge pavilion that takes its design cues from mid-century modern architecture. designer lauren geremia is responsible for the project’s interior decor.

accommodation is provided in the form of custom-designed airstream trailers alongside the property’s luxury tents — each of which have been furnished by san francisco-based geremia design. mattresses, art pieces, and bathing products have all been selected to ensure an upscale camping experience. meanwhile, dan weber architecture was in charge of site wide design including the custom airstream interior, luxury tents, and the 3,000 square foot mid-century modern-style clubhouse.

  • This is a nice setup. There are less glam camps that rent true vintage trailers to give you a taste of trailer camping the 50’s.

  • very nice but the sameness makes this place look cultish, especially when compared to somewhere like el cosmico in marfa.

  • nice to see something along these lines – could easily have turned into shlock, instead is well executed, restrained, and disciplined
