the ‘balloon’ is a genuine leather sitting ball by german designers maximilian and nikolaus hartl. conceived as a ‘product of nature’, the ball is constructed using 3mm thick cowhide that is naturally tanned and sewn by master saddle craftsmen. as time progresses, ‘balloon’ will age and patina, developing a life and character unique to each unit.
