international advertising company anomaly, in collaboration with fabian mazzola of bitlens studio, has created a luxury camping pod influenced by THE NEW MINI COUNTRYMAN F60 — a self-initiated project not commissioned by MINI. the concept reflects  MINI’s philosophy and takes the car’s compact, round shape. the pod features a completely functional living space, a kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.

bitlens studio + anomaly‘s award-winning concept camping pod is self-sustainable and clad in weather-sealed material, giving it the ability to withstand a multitude of climates. although compact, the pod includes the necessary amenities that one can find in their own home. ‘this idea came up as I wanted to create an idea, an illusion of a futuristic pod that came with all the accommodations a home has’ explains the designer.

the creators placed the pod in different environments to highlight the compactness of the design

  • The Dymaxion lives!

    Mort d'Urban says:
  • Such a beautiful camper. It’s not a camper. It’s a home! I’m ready to take in on the road now.

    Mark Seattle says:
  • Brilliant concept, fully selfsustainable…how does it transport though? Super comfort camping…will take one now, in royal grey like my Mini Cooper Countryman with polar white leather upholstery and finishes… Cost? Yay!

    Ingo Vennemann says:
  • This is amazing and would be ideal for touring in just let me know the price? Brilliant concept for those of us who like to camp but only in a certain standard of accomodation

    Steph says:
  • Hey guys lets build more useless items and destroy the environment more than we already have. Here buy this completely necessary piece of equipment! It only costs 100k and you can drag it around the country and burn lot of fossil fuels while you are at it! Sounds fun! Also you can stay inside the whole duration of your trip to ensure you don’t have to experience nature! Or directly interact with anyone else! Stay safe in your pod!

    jmt says:
  • Negative Nancy, geesh. It’s just a design concept. People aren’t clamoring to buy these. It’s just really cool to look at and imagine.

    Womp womp.
