taipei-based creatives tom cheng and salem hung of blacktail have conceived, for the taiwan designers week 2015, a furnishing accessory collection called ‘living’ that aims to create simple products with contemporary appearances that can be mix & matched. the ‘living’ collection is composed of vases, plates and containers that can be used differently depending on the customer’s needs and likes. the design’s aesthetics comes from industrial heat sinks that have been turned into rib-molds, later on filled with porcelain. with this ‘living’ collection that comes in white, gray and black, blacktail aims to bring the industrial into the domestic interiors.
