norwegian designer kristine five melvær's 'bloom' table lamps borrows the structure and look of nature to illuminate a space. the welded
steel stem seems to bend over from the apparent weight of the bulbous printed canvas forms hanging from the end, reminiscent of a budding flower,
fruit hanging from a branch, or a droplet of water about to fall. the varying heights lends to the dynamic character of nature and its many varieties.
