'bomie's boom system' by jeroen bomers
developed by dutch designer jeroen bomers, the 'bomie's boom system' is a passive acoustic amplifier for smart
phones handmade by malawian woodcarving and wood-turning specialists. it amplifies the sound of the speaker
through the parabolic horn shape to optimize the audio output. carved into a tube out of solid wood, the shape
allows users to easily slide their phones into the slot and the volume will be boosted to fill the room with sound.

based on the parabolic shaped horn

made by malawian woodcarvers
