‘bomie’s boom system’ by jeroen bomers

developed by dutch designer jeroen bomers, the ‘bomie’s boom system’ is a passive acoustic amplifier for smart phones handmade by malawian woodcarving and wood-turning specialists. it amplifies the sound of the speaker through the parabolic horn shape to optimize the audio output. carved into a tube out of solid wood, the shape allows users to easily slide their phones into the slot and the volume will be boosted to fill the room with sound.
