‘BREIL chroncentric’ wristwatch by nick lendon

shortlisted in designboom’s international design time BREIL competition, ‘paparazzo’ by finnish designer nils kajander, springs from the renowned italian watchmaker BREIL’s recent TV ads which feature a classic analog camera. the watch borrows its shapes and forms from twisting camera’s features to serve its own purposes. for example, the aperture ring functions as a date wheel, while the self-timer knob translates into a crown, together forming a dial. the timepiece has a black stainless steel finish with an accompanying black leather band.
