‘peg’ is a simple collection of furniture by bright potato, a multidisciplinary creative studio based in london, england. featuring a stool, a bench, a coffee table, a desk, and a dining table, the project reinvents the idea of flat-pack objects through the innovative formation of its corners. here, each vertices displays a smooth conical void cut out of the top surface. therefore, assemble only requires the insertion of the legs into the openings with a precise fit that develops the structural integrity of the whole piece.

completely designed and produced in britain, the work combines the great heritage of the country’s engineering ingenuity with current digital manufacturing technologies. utilizing the skills of fine craftsmen, ‘peg’ links elite materials, from aerospace aluminum to premium selected hardwoods, to create a simple and elegant contemporary assortment. the furnishings are available in matte and gloss finishes of six colors: black, white, red, yellow, green and blue. meanwhile, aluminum, hard maple, white oak, or black walnut are provided for the legs.
