for christian dior‘s autumn-winter 2014 runway show, paris-based creative agency bureau betak has infilled the runway site with a blanket of orchid flowers, canvassing the entirety of the circular show space.
set inside the musée rodin, in paris, the living installation surrounds viewers to the couture showcase in a sanctuary of delicate botanicals, wrapping them within the pastel purple, yellow and soft white tones. a vast, rounded stage is the central location for both models and audience, with chairs hugging the floral wall. belgian fashion designer raf simons behind the collection presented a muted pallet of elegant dresses, skirts and blouses, complemented by dark hues for outerwear; overall the outfits mimic the stems and blossoms enveloping them within the space.
