the ‘caico series’ tables by jason lloyd fletcher are as chaotic as they are serene. the tables’ surfaces are covered in deep pools of color that crash through the bottom into hundreds of pointed droplets reminiscent of stormy, turbulent seas. like the ocean, the ‘caico’ series is an enigmatic and serene experience, evocative of moments frozen in time, and suspended in mid air. fletcher achieved surfaces with skillful manipulation of acrylic and glass. ‘caico’ draws users in, and encourages them to explore what’s beneath the surface.
