nendo/ oki sato is the guest of honour at the stockholm furniture fair 2013 where swedish company offecct presents the first prototypes of  japanese designer’s ‘cape’ chair, with ultra-thin dimensions of legs and a very low overall weight. its seat shell shape gives the illusion of a cape spread over a frame. experimentation to obtain a very low weight was made possible by a collaboration between offecct and swedish steel AB  in the development of new steel materials.
