cheungvogl is a young international architectural practice led by chinese-canadian architect judy cheung and architect christoph vogl. they have sent us images of their recent work ‘umarmung’ a floor-sitting couch. the gradual curved profile follows contours of the body whether it is sitting up straight or leaning back.

it is made with reinforced polyester resin complete with steel support, covered with eco-friendly flame-retardant polyurethane foam. the process adopts the latest variable pressure foaming (VPF) technology. cheungvogl: umarmung cheungvogl: umarmung
