christophe caranchini, founder of french studio madein84, grew up on the water. being near the sea for his entire life, it’s only natural that he decided to design a beach towel. the conventional towel is classic and simple and perfectly fine as it is, but according to caranchini; it could be better.

a towel, but bigger 

the ‘big towel’ is the result of his experimentations. light and compact, it’s available in various sizes ranging from 50cm to 300 — and possibly more. whether solo or with the entire family, the cloth is good for the beach, hikes, picnics by the river, etc. ‘big towel’ has a central hole for an umbrella, and also to keep it from taking flight on windy days. the product’s main feature is its round shape; which saves users from the inconvenience of standing up for three seconds to turn it.
