designed by swedish duo färg & blanche is a collection based on the concept of treating a chair as a body, presented at stockholm furniture fair 2013.
informed by the fashion industry, 'F-A-B' is a series that allows the nude seating to be used on its own or also 'dressed' in 'garments' to transform
the piece into something more extravagant - a couture collection appropriated for another industry. the designs merge industrial production
with specialized artisan handcraft - the chairs themselves manufactured by the oldest shaker factories still in operating in sweden,
while the couture dresses are hand made in the atelier of the design duo in stockholm.
