the story of 'dent chair' by swedish studio o4i for bla station starts with the idea of trying to achieve the impossible:
to mould a double-curved 3D surface out of regular veneer - transforming a hard, flat surface into a double-curved
shell that comfortably cradles the human body. using layer-glued compression-moulded ash wood, the stackable
furniture piece uses ordinary (not 3D) veneer to achieve its form. available in stained or natural lacquered finishes,
green chrome, chrome III or lacquered steel leg options complement the seat.

Amazing dent efect!
very cool how they achieved the results whit the press mold…
It’s a shame the legs are so ordinary as the seat shell is very cool…
