japanese studio the design labo has applied a wooden kumiki framework throughout the flagship store of jun hashimoto tokyo in japan. the interior is characterized by the repeated latticed-pattern that is used to line walls and installed on the furniture. the overlapping structure is used to form a table in the center of the shop, the top of which has a mirror placed on it to with a light that reflects the outline of a moon onto the ceiling. the installation of the wooden pieces seek to combine the natural world and the spirit of the body together, focusing on small details in a complex manner.
