on the occasion of the parisian launch of the collection of haute bijouterie designed by pierre hardy for Hermès, architect didier faustino was invited to realize the staging of the unique jewelry pieces under the specific theme of cosmogony; the branch of science and theory that explores the origin of the universe, stars and solar system.

didier faustino‘s collaboration with Hermès and pierre hardy saw twelve boxes, suspended within a frame and positioned in a circle and instilling a celestrial and futuristic ambiance. set in a dark space, the pieces are displayed and highlighted within the glass-fronted boxes which convey the expression of time and introduces a basic representation of the notion of time. the choice of rough material such as iron and 3D printings, the artist and architect introduces a visual counterpoint to the jewels.

the installation is on display until october 8th at boutique hermès in 24 rue du faubourg saint honoré, paris.
