japanese studio daisuke motogi has created a collection of accessories called ‘bunkai pierce’ and ‘sakkaku pierce’ that playfully flirt with color,
pattern and texture for massitem. the brightly colored acrylic discs make up a set of earrings that sway as the user wears them,
as the discs meeting points are broken, a rainbow of hues reveal themselves. other varieties include the gingham and stripe style which
play on the art of optical illusion.
