for the exhibition concept of the 2012 elle decor international design award nominees, nendo  organized the venue - the AUDI forum in tokyo -
through the installation of 60 cut-out panels in the shape of people as a means of creating walls to divide the space into various areas.
sections in which the placement of figures was absent, defined passageways in which to navigate through the show.
the 'walls of people' made the works difficult to see from a distance, in a way encouraging visitors to approach the display,
to view the pieces presented from 'over someone's shoulders', inviting surprise and curiosity.

the act of viewing the works on show was done much in the way of 'looking over one's shoulder'
