installation of urban trees and bird houses

back in 2008, chilean architects emilio marin and claudio magrini collaborated on an artistic installation for a competition. the result was a public intervention of modular trees. the tree bases have openings in which branches with bird houses and perches can be inserted in various arrangements creating an area in which birds can circulate and flock towards. the project won first place and has now been realized in the santiago valley, chile.
