on the occasion of maison&objet (january 23rd-27th, 2015 in paris), english furniture brand ercol debuts a seating collection by paola navone. the italian designer’s ‘nest’ series includes a large and small sofa, with a chair to accompany the family at a later date. the ‘nest’ sofas reference ercol’s style of producing traditional steam bent furniture as seen by the sturdy beech wood bench framework; combined with paola navone’s signature use of bold colors and textures, as referenced in the loose upholstery and cushioning of the set.
