ethimo’s ‘nicolette’ chair designed by patrick norguet is characterised by its stark robust yet delicate nature. made for the outdoors, this furniture piece is constructed from aluminium which is capable of withstanding the effects of time. the seat holds an inviting curved frame with a wooden backrest which acts as a neutral embellishment. a pleated fabric has been pulled across the back of the chair adding an elegant haute couture statement. ‘nicolette’ takes on an unconventional edge by combining many contrasting elements, the effect however is a classic design that expresses an utmost attention to detail.
