furniture designer filippo mambretti unveils the INFINITA lighting collection for italian brand MOGG. the product is a hanging lamp, which is designed in three different diameters to allow for a multitude of combinations and compositions. ‘INFINITA comes from the desire to create an intriguing game of refractions and reflections,’ expresses mambretti.

shaped like a tube light, filippo mambretti‘s INFINITA lamp for MOGG combines two reflective surfaces which, besides being used as a mirror, allow the light bulb to blend with the interiors and thus hiding it. the special glass used to get the reflective surfaces, once the lamp is lit, creates a unique optical effect– giving the metallic block plan an unexpected perspective and spatial depth. the outcome is a bright infinity that runs through the inside of the luminaire. thanks to the placement of LED strips inside the light fixture, a discrete and poetic lighting is diffused within the home environment.
