'FYLM' thin speaker by designaffairs studio
transmitting sound through oscillation, designaffairs studio has developed 'FYLM' - a 2.5mm thin portable speaker.
because the device provides full power for the audio piece, it doesn't require batteries, allowing flexibility of form and shape
because of its lightness and reduced size in comparison to other compact options on the market. its unique technology,
in combination with a smart design enables a full and rich directional sound. 'FYLM' is a great on-the-go companion,
as its minimalist form fits into any pocket, notebook or handbag.

impressive
It is a nice design practice, but also a worthless one. First of all, i am tired of reading how someone “developed” something, when the truth is that they have “developed” only a few rendering pictures. They don´t even have a working prototype of this. Electrostatic speaker can´t work without external power source (it can, but it would be only whispering).
In this size it would have also no bass at all. So what is the point?
