giulio iacchetti has taken the fascist architecture of the ‘square colosseum’–located in the EUR (esposizione universale roma) quarter in rome, from which the furniture also appropriately takes its name–and translated it into a modular polypropylene shelving system for magis. the individual elements are very symmetric and linear in form, taking direct cues from the building style which they reference, creating a series of superimposed arches which can be extended upwards and outwards with endless possibility.
