a long-time designboom friend, massimiliano adami has invented a process that results of led him to the creation of his latest furniture collection, ‘gommapiuma décor’ – using polyurethene to craft and mold a series of colorful chairs. realized by re-thinking the elements of the industrial production of sofas and stuffing, the project expresses the material and manipulation capabilities of the foam – presented without the need of a textile cover. in addition to the unexpected graphics of the surfaces, the cut-lines define unusual structures of objects with spatial orientation which seem to be random.
