japanese studio h220430 focuses not only on the shape of things, but the secondary communications that occur within each of their objects. their artifact ‘the birth’, questions the considerable loss of life and humanitarian suffering caused by human-perpetrated means such as terrorism. the chandelier is representative of the weak electrical current that begins to occur in the ovum from the moment of fertilization. ‘the birth’ allows viewers to re-recognize the beauty of life at a personal level, and hopefully change their outlook on larger global humanitarian issues.
