hotel oasis collection is a happy furniture family
these furniture pieces have a functional intention to provide meaning and enliven whoever uses them, creating a unique and personal experience.

created in collaboration between lafede studiostore (architect and curator) and david méndez alonso (artist and creative), ‘hotel oasis’ is a furniture project that references a spiritual trip to a peaceful place where abstraction, reality, and dreams speak through symbols. the collection is dedicated to the four directions and the four elements depicted as ideograms like eye, hand, leaf and triangle. the complete set consists of seven happy pieces.

‘paz’ chair and ‘suerte’ side table
for the ‘hotel oasis’ collection, lafede studiostore and david méndez alonso have created the ‘silla paz’ which is a chair that embraces and comforts; ‘mesita suerte’, a table that watches over you; ‘pared fantasía’ that is a wall that creates space where there are none; ’tótem éxtasis’ as an amulet for the four elements; ‘mesa actitud’ that is the best solution to be inspired on hard working days; with ‘estación alegría’ you can connect, organize and support your best ideas; and with ‘mano luz’ you only have to switch it on to point and brighten your way.

‘fantasía’ wall and friends
the pieces are all hybrids between sculptures, furniture, and amulets. these objects offer both functionality and a mystic attitude to face all your life adventures. they are happy furniture pieces because they have a functional intention to provide meaning and enliven whoever uses them, creating a unique and personal experience. manufacture in barcelona, the process has been under strict controls as well as the material treatment. pinewood and metal was used, combined with methacrylate, PVC and mirror glass. all pieces are unique and can be purchased on demand; they can also be personalized.
