the ‘ipiranga’ lampshade’ is characterised by its circular form and and radiating light which is expelled from its inner base. the unusual furniture piece is accompanied by a tubular stand which allows you to assemble your personal belongings upon the design. the sculptural object was constructed by studio pistache ganache in a traditional factory in são paulo, brazil. the composition draws upon original templates found in the workshop which date back from the 1970’s. the static plate references this era through its hypnotising swirl that grows and ripples from its center. ‘ipiranga’ can be placed on the stand or on the wall as one may wish and is available in matte black and opaque brass.
