‘working title’ collection by johanna dehio ‘hockerbank’ stool and bench

berlin-based designer johanna dehio explores the expressive side of makeshift objects with her collection, ‘working title’. the line of products test the notion of improvisation, perfection vs. imperfection, participation and play in the design of objects we encounter everyday. the resulting collection, comprised of four furniture-types, is a series of drafts describing a feeling of openness and ease.

‘hockerbank’ is inspired by makeshift seating. comprised of several stools and a plank with corresponding round cut-outs, they can be combined to form a bench. likewise, a round table can be transformed in to a long table to accommodate a larger group of users.
