'jyunpai' is a humidifier which incorporates an aesthetic sensibility that stimulates one's emotions and sensitivities.
conceived by asa hirasawa, a graduate student of kyoto city university of arts in japan, the funnel-shaped,
sculptural design goes against the conventional 'evaporation-style' system typically found in these particular devices.
hirasawa has envisioned 'jyunpai' to capture the delicate changes which water goes through during the evaporation process,
particularly at the moment when it changes from a liquid to a gas. the design not only improves the quality of air in one's home,
but also adds a sense of charm and elegance to the domestic interior with its wooden shell, especially during the winter months.
