applying a special silver coating to the ‘mirror table’, osaka and malmö-based studio kenji fukushima design has turned it into a reflective piece of furniture. the characteristics of the wooden grain are still visible, contrasting its warmth against the hardness of the metal to create a new texture. the lines are intricately positioned, similar to those used in decorative glass as a reinterpretation of the wide chamfer seen in mirror manufacturing, bringing it to the edges of the table.
