berlin-based industrial designers julia läufer and marcus keichel have conceived of the 330/1330 chair and table series for furniture maker thonet. presented at orgatec 2012 in cologne, germany  the ‘330 chair’ is a stackable unit featuring a language based on simple lines and distinctive shapes. its ergonomically formed seat and backrest provides maximum comfort due to its well-balanced proportions. made out of a combination of solid beech and plywood parts, the design can be stained or left natural.

the ‘1330 table’ matches the streamline design of the ‘330 chair’ which is defined by its reduced form and functionality. the rectangular, solid-wood legs feature a tapered and slightly splayed. the veneer top rests on a beveled edge frame which give the appearance of the surface floating above the support.
