back in 2006 german designers kai linke & johannes hemann presented an early prototype of ‘catching the wild’ lasso wardrobe in the 'inspired by
cologne' exhibition at the cologne furniture fair in 2006 which designboom covered here. made of steel and polyester rope,
this functional still-life furniture piece pays homage to the wild west - a cultural expression of the american frontier immortalized through the capacity of design.
the pieces is now available as a limited edition series of 99 pieces at zurich-based distributor waldraud.
