other pieces of the 2013 arper collection by lievore alterr molina include ‘song’ wall and freestanding hangers; as well as the ‘wing’ wall-mounted hooks. ‘song’ references the arrangement of music in its formal characteristics. each of the eight rotating arms are shaped like musical notes which can be twisted and turned, creating diverse, dynamic compositions, for hanging coats, scarves and hats.

similar in function to the ‘song’ hanger, ‘wing’ features three bent walnut wood arms which animate the wall in which they are installed, the flow and movement of its striated arms creating a sculptural composition on the surface in which it is mounted.

the ‘catifa’ chair sees the addition of the ‘catifa’ 46 and 53 fabric covers which have been created to liven up the polypropylene seat shell of the design by the spanish studio. constructed from kvadrat textiles, they incorporate contrasting top-stitch patterns. these ‘garments’ extend the ability of the seating system so that one may adapt the chairs for almost any application or environment. they can easily slide on and off the frame via a zipper, ideal when they need to be laundered.
