recuperation, transformation and reinterpretation are the essential concepts of maison martin margiela‘s aesthetic expression. deriving from the shape of a classical shoetree, the french fashion designer created this wall hook for l’atelier d’exercices, shown at the fall 2012 edition of maison et objet in paris. available in varnished lime, the heel and toes of the right foot create two hooks to hang clothes, hats and bags.
