based in milan and vicenza in italy, matteo cibic is a creative company that develops products and creative ideas for international companies, private collectors and cultural institutions. VasoNaso‘ is a project born from the admiration for the italian painter giorgio morandi, who spent most of his life painting still lifes of bottles and potteries. in order to understand his obsession, matteo cibic decided to start a one-year research project on the subject.

leonard koren reviews the project: ‘matteo cibic is the future of italian design, he has fabulous ideas and a genius spirit. his latest project ‘VasoNaso’ is a case in point: 365 new objects — one for each day of 2016 — handmade in italy by the maestro himself. matteo promises that each object will have its own soul, it’s own personality. there will be good objects and bad objects- there will be extroverts and introverts, lovers and loners.’
