'louis XV goes to sparta' by maurizio galante and tal lancman for cerrutibaleri

'louis XV goes to sparta' transforms the limitations of marble into a soft and comfortable sensation.
developed by designers maurizio galante and tal lancman for italian manufacturer cerruti baleri,
the furniture piece marks the meeting of two classics within the history of decorative arts:
the form of a louis XV armchair and the digitally reproduced motif of famous marbles.

the chair's framework is composed of a plywood structure and CFC-free soft polyurethane foam,
with an internal dacron cover and separate seating cushion made of polyurethane. the piece is then upholstered
with an external cover made of 100% silk that is finished with a photographic print of carrara marble.
'louis XV' comes in three 'marble tattoo' versions: 'carrara', which is currently in production,
along with 'portasanta' and 'grande antico', presented for the first time at imm cologne 2012.
