following the success of ‘ray‘ for the ex.t shop, german designer michael hilgers has crafted the ‘gus washbasin.’  similar to its predecessor, the formation of the object was influenced more by contemporary classic furniture than by typical sanitary installations, giving bathrooms a touch of living room atmosphere. the slim, handmade ceramic basin with a hidden siphon is supported by a light, skeletal, and transparent structure that references gustave eiffel’s parisian masterpiece. its alloy components can be chrome plated or painted with a white coat of corrosion resistant powder.
