presented ahead of this year’s stockholm furniture fair, swedish note design studio has realized a series of ‘rise’ sofas for fogia. boasting elegant lines, the half-moon shape of the rising sun informs the seating unit’s sweeping silhouette. bearing the scandinavian identity through its distinct wooded base, its soft upholstered shape rests with a characteristic tension in its high, wrap-around back. integrated into the design is a side table, folding out and bridging the furniture piece to the rest of the room it inhabits. ‘rise’ will be on show at the note open exhibition during the fair at old luma factory.

‘area’ tables for fogia

‘area’ is a series of small-scale tables, meant to accompany fogia’s other products. comprised of two sizes and an organic, subtle color scheme, the tables can be combined together to create compositions of overlapping circles, or can work on their own as distinct and separate units. wood ash material forms the furnishings, made in the spirit of traditional craftsmanship, while trademark scandinavian simple and clean lines define each item’s overall framework.
