influenced by german inventor ferdinand zeppelin’s airship forms, ukranian design studio mukomelov has translated them into a comfortable sofa. bringing an element of air travel to the living room, the image of a flying blimp is evident in the furniture’s outline. despite the fact that the framework for the piece refers to aerodynamic structures, the soft lining and internal filler create a soft and relaxing place to sit.

the shape of the sofa is based on ferdinand zeppelin’s airship forms
