nendo develops sudare outdoor furniture collection for patio petite

nendo has designed the latest outdoor furniture range for japanese brand patio petite – a series of pieces created for verandas, terraces and other compact exterior spaces. known as the ‘sudare’ collection, each of the seats and tables are modular; they are able to fold and stand alone when not in use. if needed, the outdoor modules can also serve as partitions – like japanese sudare window blinds – when used in conjunction with either a railing or edge surface.

the table can be easily configured in height and length. simply move the position of the structure up or down, and the surface dimensions of the table top increases or decreases. a complementary set of matching accessories such as trays and containers are also included with the collection. the objects have been designated to fit onto the spaces between the connecting rods, give users the option to attach them anywhere they’d like.

in addition, the japanese studio designed two additional seating styles, a high-back chair and a lounger. the frames are available in five different colours and the blinds come in two natural finishes.
