israeli designer nir meiri has created ‘concrete plates’, a series of plates and stands that use a modest palette in hopes of emphasizing the food which is placed upon them.

made of two humble materials – concrete and wood – the collection features variously sized plates with contrasting and assorted bases. the simple shapes of the organic pieces rely on the contrasting textures and colors of the materials for added interest.
