conceived as a collaboration between french designer patrick jouffret of agency 360 and current meters/profiler manufacturers
in france, nortekmed, the oceanographic cage is revealed through an ergonomic form. drawing influences from marine life,
the device floats around on a tripod steel curved structure, forming hydrodynamic geometry. the oceanographic cage can descend
to 4000 meters in depth and makes its own measures through its sensors during some months.
