by merging technology with design, clothing and furniture, the ora ïto ‘mobility’ collection creates a cluster of connected electronic-based products and was on display at the 2014 maison et objet. the forms reverse the cold technology, efficiency and rigidity of electrical devices into nomadic, soft products that better reveal people’s personalities. this break from aesthetic aggressiveness and functionality incorporates materials as the heart of the project. colors, textures and touch are for choosing and can be mixed meaning they become part of its DNA.
