oscar lhermitte's albatros bookmark follows as you turn a page

oscar lhermitte’s albatros bookmark follows as you turn a page

albatros‘ allows you to forget about having to worry about putting a bookmark into your book when you have to stop reading. created by french-born UK-based designer oscar lhermitte, the page marker is comprised of a thin piece of polyester that is inserted into your book, and because of its structure and shape, whenever you turn a page, ‘albatros’ follows along. just close your reading material whenever you are done, and the bookmark automatically marks the last page you were on.

lhermitte has sent us images of the product which is currently only available in large quantities, so he has started a fundraising campaign on indiegogo to allow him to sell the first production run in packs of 6 online.

the bookmark follows along as you turn each page

  • \”allows you to forget about having to worry about putting a bookmark into your book\”

The red color (or other bright colors) might help you find the bookmark easily when the book is closed.. and it does look nice, but I am worried that you might not \”forget\” that it\’s there while you\’re reading (in other words it might distract you). So making it white or something close to the color of the paper (or even transparent) might be an solution.

    Overall it\’s a neat idea. Congratulations! )
