‘superkink’ is the latest edition to osko + deichmann‘s straw series which first debuted in 2010. produced by blå station, the furniture takes its form through the kinking of its lacquered steel tube frame, which is bent in a crude, but still calculated way – the ‘superkink’ armchair and sofa versions being bigger, stronger versions of their predecessors. presented at stockholm furniture fair 2013, they are intended for indoor use and outfitted with polyurethane foam padding, upholstered in fabric or leather, with plastic feet.
